His eyebrows were pinched together in concentration, and there was a small frown on his face. His front teeth bit into his bottom lip, and briefly he licked his lips before his front teeth were biting once more. He sat on the edge of the bench, as if enraptured by his own melody, and his eyes were closed. Not tightly, but gently. His long eyelashes were touching the tops of his cheekbones, and fluttered whenever a breeze went past. His hair was dark, like Amber’s, with his bangs brushed off to one side. His hair, too, fluttered in the breeze.

He was as beautiful as the melody emitting from his violin, Amber couldn’t help but note. She stood still and watched as he played, until suddenly, he began to smile. His cheeks lifted up, making Amber’s fingers twitch, and the melody quickly became happy and jolly. He looked so happy that Amber couldn’t help but smile too, tilting her head and continuing to watch him play.
